On Thursday, July 11, join Salt Farm’s artistic director Ledoh and dancer Monique Goldwater for a POOLREADY! urban intervention of Kahn’s Alley. POOLREADY! explores the complexities of climate change, and the irony in the futility of individuals being able to act collectively in their self-interest and for the good of humanity. Ledoh’s character is prepared for the next Noachian flood-at the ready, with floaties, snorkel, and fins, surrounded by a digitally-induced desert yet threatened by flood. Media design by Perry Hallinan, with music by Matt Ogaz and Reverend Markus Hawkins, and costumes by Paula Pfotenhauer.

POOLREADY! begins after dark. The gallery will be open at 8 pm with SIGNMAN: John Law on view before and after the performance. Reception following featuring Lagunitas beer and wine donated by Schug and Nicholson Ranch wineries. POOLREADY! is made possible in part through the Gerbode Foundation Special Award in the Arts program and the Kenneth Rainin Foundation.

Door opens at 8 PM, performance starts at 8:30 PM. Free and open to all. Please register via Eventbrite or Facebook.
