1. Taking BART:

Take any train that passes through the Oakland City Center/12th Street Station. Exit the station at Broadway and 11th Street. If you're up for a 10-15 minute walk, you can head 9 blocks straight down Broadway to 2nd Street and take a right. Pro Arts is 2 blocks down 2nd Street at Clay. Otherwise, hop on a bus...


2. Taking AC Transit:

AC Transit from Bart's 12th Street Station in Oakland. Local AC Transit buses Lines 58, 59, 72, 73 go towards Jack London Square. Now the new A Line offers TransBay Express service on new luxury coaches between Oakland International Airport and downtown San Francisco, with stops at Amtrak, Jack London Square, and Oakland City Center at Broadway & 12th. 3. Driving:

  1. FROM SAN FRANCISCO: Take Bay Bridge to 880 South-Alameda/San Jose. Take the Broadway-Alameda exit, right at bottom of ramp, go one block, take first right on Adeline, left on 3rd, right on Clay Street. Follow Clay one block to the corner of 2nd Street.

  2. FROM SOUTH OF OAKLAND (INCLUDING THE OAKLAND AIRPORT): Take Hwy 880 North to the Broadway exit. Take a left on Broadway. Follow Broadway to 2nd Street and take a right. Go 2 blocks to Clay Street.

  3. FROM NORTH OF OAKLAND: From I-80, take 880 Alameda/San Jose exit, (third lane from left), follow along 880 to the Broadway/Alameda exit, right at bottom of ramp, take first right on Adeline, left on 3rd, right on Clay Street. Follow Clay one block to the corner of 2nd Street.

  4. From Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, take MLK south towards Downtown, veer left at San Pablo Ave, left back onto MLK, left on 3rd, right on Clay Street. Follow Clay one block to the corner of 2nd Street.
  5. FROM CONTRA COSTA COUNTY: Highway 24 to I-980/Downtown Oakland. Exit at 11th/12th Street, straight on Brush Street, (you will be parallel with the freeway). Take a left on 3rd, right on Clay Street. Follow Clay one block to the corner of 2nd Street.

Parking: Pro Arts offers after-hours parking on weekdays and all-day parking Saturdays and Sundays in the lot behind the gallery. Entrance on Jefferson between 2nd Street and 3rd Street.
