Exhibition
Juried Annual 2003-2004
December 17, 2003 - January 24, 2004
Juried by Heidi Zuckerman Jacobson, MATRIX Curator, Berkeley Art Museum
Pro Arts' Juried Exhibitions have attracted artists from all over the country. Respected jurors, along with Pro Arts' 30-year dedication to artists have contributed to the exhibitions' prestige and success. Past jurors have included: Philip Linhares, Chief Curator of Art at the Oakland Museum of California, Gerardo Mosquera, Havana-based international critic and curator at New York City's New Museum of Contemporary Art, Larry Rinder, Curator of Contemporary Art at the Whitney Museum in New York, Theresa Harlan, Program Administrator for the Artists Fellowship Program and the Traditional Folk Arts Program at the California Arts Council. We are honored to welcome Heidi Zuckerman Jacobson, MATIX Curator from the Berkeley Art Museum to our list!
This year, two hundred and two artists submitted a total of 1,460 works for this juried show. After just five hours of review, Heidi Zuckerman Jacobson selected 40 pieces from 15 artists, making this the most competitive exhibition at Pro Arts.
